Position: Sales Support Coordinator - Contract Position

Primary Location: Remote/Hybrid Based-Canada (depending on location)

Schedule: Full time

Reports To: Sales Director, Sales Excellence

Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000 (CAD)

 

Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.   The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.   Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   More specific salary range for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process.  Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, benefits, pension contributions or additional incentives.

About This Role and About You

The scope of the Sales Support Coordinator position will be to work in collaboration with the Sales Directors to provide coordination and organization of the information and administrative support to the North American sales group. Part of the mandate will be to develop processes to improve effectiveness while assisting the Sales group with communications.

 

  • Demonstrates superior organizational skills to manage the Sales SharePoint and drive the development of new processes
  • Collaborate with the different departments & coordinate the information
  • Communicates effectively across the organization
  • Demonstrates knowledge and experience with SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Snowflake
  • Works effectively across functions such as Sales, Marketing, Legal.

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage Sales SharePoint: Oversee the organization, updates, and development of the Sales SharePoint site to ensure it is a comprehensive resource for the North American sales team, in coordination with other departments & Legal for the Customer Contract Database.
  • Process Development: Collaborate with Sales Directors to identify, develop, and implement processes that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales group.
  • Sales Analysis and Reporting: Assist in the creation and distribution of sales reports and analyses, utilizing tools such as SAP, Excel, and CRM to provide actionable insights along with Snowflake.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Legal, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless communication and coordination of information across the organization. Support and maintain Sales Toolbox functionality with cross functional departments.
  • Communication Management: Facilitate effective communication within the sales team and across other departments, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately and promptly shared.
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Sales Directors and the broader sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing documents, and handling correspondence. While also supporting the Sales Teams with customer letters, RFQs &PDI. Coordinating monthly Sales Calls such as Lunch and Learn and Monthly Sales Updates.
  • System Expertise: Utilize and maintain knowledge of SAP, CRM, Excel, and PowerPoint to support sales activities, training, and process improvements. Also to include Snowflake.
  • Data Coordination: Coordinate the collection, organization, and dissemination of sales-related data to ensure accuracy and accessibility for decision-making supporting the Sales Directors.
  • Project Support: Assist in the coordination and execution of special projects such as Business Sales and the Annual National Sales Meeting or initiatives as directed by Sales Directors, contributing to the overall success of the sales organization.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may also be considered.

    Experience:

    • 2-4 years of experience in a sales support, sales operations, or administrative role within a similar industry.
    • Experience working with Sales and CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Office. Snowflake)
    • Experience in data analysis and report generation.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Particularly Excel (for data analysis and reporting), PowerPoint (for presentations), and Word.
    • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
    • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Salesforce).
    • Experience with SharePoint for managing and organizing sales documents and resources.

    Organizational Skills:

    • Strong organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in data and reports.

    Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate across different departments and levels of the organization.
    • Interpersonal skills: Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

    Analytical Skills:

    • Data analysis skills: Ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
    • Problem-solving skills: Ability to develop and implement processes that improve sales team efficiency.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Customer service orientation: Commitment to providing high-quality support to the sales team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities and business needs.
    • Proactive approach: Demonstrating initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in the chemical industry or a related field.
    • Familiarity with sales processes and terminology.

  • Ability to type and maintain an ergonomic position at a desk
