Position: Sales Analyst

Primary Location: Toronto, ON prefered, or home based in Canada

Schedule: Hybrid if based in Toronto, home based otherwise

Reports To: Water Director

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 CAD + bonus + benefits.

Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.   The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.   Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   More specific salary range for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process.  Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, benefits, pension contributions or additional incentives.

In This Role, You Will:

The scope of the Sales Analyst position will be to (1) provide support to the water commercial team with a focus on the organic growth initiatives (2) provide administrative and analytical support for Chemtrade’s customer quality reporting system (NCR System).

 

A Successful Candidate Has:

  • A minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 plus years of experience in sales and marketing analyst, preferably in a business development environment. MBA would be considered a strong asset.
  • Experience with platforms such as CRM Dynamics or Salesforce as well as ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Technical skills: Excellent knowledge of Windows application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook mail).
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineer Registration preferred.

 

Specific Role Responsibilities

 

Pipeline management

  • Support the sales team with CRM Dynamic Pipeline.
  • Create and maintain KPI to track down business growth progress.
  • Work with outside resource on the improvement of the CRM Dynamic platform.
  • Participate in the weekly review with the business manager, application specialist and the account manager.
  • Populate the pipeline with lead from Citylitics & Gov Spend and work with the business and sales to filter the data.

Water Commercial team

  • Create KPI and produce report/dashboard that would allow an easy tracking of the account manager performance.
  • Generate/analyse sales reports upon request.
  • Make research on specific market area of potential growth.
  • Support Product Data Sheet (PDS), Safety Data Sheet (SDS) with EH&S team.
  • Support the NSF Certification.

 

Customer Quality Reporting System (NCR System)

  • Responsible for data management of NCR system.
  • Generate, analyze and distribute monthly/quarterly/annual NCR reports.
  • Work with IT group to manage both updates and upgrades to the NCR System.
  • Provide training on the NCR system as required.

 

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Need an individual with strong capabilities to take initiatives.
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Good communication skills as the person will communicate with the Account Managers, Sales Directors and Business Directors on a regular basis.
  • Need an individual that is highly organized and able to deal with large amounts of data from different sources. There are periods where there is going to be very concentrated such as campaign we would do for specifics.
  • Need someone with ability to collaborate across various departments and functions, with an ability to drive projects to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated success working autonomously. Questions or concerns to be resolved mainly on the phone or by email.
  • Ability to display quantitative information in tables, charts, presentations, and other forms visual enhancements to the data.
  • Solution oriented mindset driven by natural curiosity.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
